The Tech series are multi-level augmentative and alternative communication devices designed to aid communication through direct selection. Using “Real-Voice” technology, the Tech Series provides speech playback at a high audio quality. The Tech/Speak is user-friendly and easy-to-use, while also being durable and rugged. Made from shatterproof plastic, they are designed to be drop resistant, and water-resistant, while still being light-weight and portable. The battery door and volume/level controls are designed to deter tampering. A shoulder strap is included and all units can be easily mounted. The Tech Series is manufactured to the highest commercial standards to provide many years of reliable performance. They are supported by AMDi’s one-year manufacturer’s warranty, including parts and labor.

The Tech/Talk with Environmental Controls is an augmentative and alternative communication device with the added functionality of environmental controls, providing an added level of empowerment to the user. Possessing all the functions, features and benefits of the standard Tech/Talk, the Tech/Talk with Environmental Controls can control up to 4 electrical devices and/or light fixtures. The ECU comes with four wireless sockets ready to plug into your electrical outlets.

Of the 6 available levels, the first level is designated for Environmental Control functions. The additional 5 levels are for communication.
