Changing the way children write!
Using Clicker Grids, children write with whole words, phrases, and pictures. Sets of linked grids give students access to an unlimited number of words and pictures that provide a framework or scaffold for their writing. The clear, realistic voice automatically reads each sentence, highlighting words as they are spoken. The speech feedback motivates children to check their writing and correct it themselves.

Simply clicking on a word sends it into Clicker Writer, Clicker's word processor. If students need help choosing the right word, they can hear the word before they select it. More independent writers use the Clicker Grid as a talking word bank for just the more challenging words, and use the keyboard for the rest.

It's so quick to create new grids that you can do it as a whole class, getting your students to suggest words as you talk about a topic. You will also find it easy to modify grids to make differentiated materials to suit all of your students' needs.
Students can create anything from simple documents to talking books (using pop-up grids for support if they need it) and even multimedia presentations using digital photos, sounds, and video.
