KURZWEIL 3000 VERSION 2.5 FOR MACINTOSH
New Features of version 2.5
Professional Color Product: Kurzweil 3000 for Macintosh Professional Color now offers color scanning! This is a critical component for students, especially for those in elementary and middle schools, because it allows the pages of a textbook to be scanned and shown accurately on the computer screen in color.
Voice Notes: enables teachers to record instructions or students to record their own notes.
Bookmarks allow readers to mark important places in image documents.
Read by Highlight: gives the user the option to read only highlighted text.
Custom Reading Colors: select a standard combination of highlight colors for the word or reading unit (e.g. sentence) or create a custom combination of your liking by clicking the word or unit bar and selecting a color from a color wheel.
Custom Text Color. You can change the color of text in text documents and in Text and Sticky Notes and Footnotes. The colors are available from the Color menu from the Text menu. You can also select a custom color by choosing Other and using the color wheel.
